Welcome to Spokane Garry Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), as we celebrate 100 years of service in Spokane, Washington.

Chief Garry, an influential leader for most of his long life, is who the Spokane Garry Chapter, NSDAR, is named after. Spokane Garry Chapter, NSDAR,  was founded on April 23, 1921, under the name of Spokane Daughters of the American Revolution and in 1928 renamed Spokane Garry Chapter, NSDAR.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Today over ONE MILLION women have committed to the mission. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible to join.
